3.1 Manual Synchronization

Introduction

This document will teach you how to configure your mobile phone to sync with your Eagle contacts.

Before Getting Started

Before getting started you should set some of your contacts to sync to your phone so that you can confirm that your set-up process has been a success. To do this go to any of the contacts that you wish to sync and press the following button:

On the contact details page

Or alternatively on the contact listing page.

A green icon indicates that the contact will be synced on your phone. A grey icon indicates this contact will not be present on your phone.

Note: This feature is limited to 2000 contacts. If you exceed 2000 contacts we will synchronize the most recent 2000 contacts synced.

Instructions for Android

Step 1

Unlock your phone and select the "Play Store" icon.

Select the search bar and type "carddav sync"

Select "CardDAV-Sync"
Step 4
Purchase and install the CardDAV-Sync app.
Step 5
Select the "ACCEPT" button when prompted as the app will need to have permission to access your contacts.
Step 6
Open the CardDav-Sync app by clicking the "OPEN" button.
Step 7
Select "CardDAV" from the list of accounts types.
Step 8
Enter "www.eagleagent.com.au" for the "Server name or URL" field.
Make sure "Use SSL" is checked.
Enter your Eagle email address and password. The same details you log into Eagle with.
Click "Next".

Enter "Eagle" for the account name and click finish.

Scroll down and click "Done".

Manual Synchronization

Step 1
Unlock your phone and press the "CardDAV-Sync" icon.
Step 2
Select the word "Eagle".
Step 3
Select the vertical dots at the top right-hand side of the screen.

Select "Sync now".

Unlock your phone and press the "Settings" icon.
Step 2
Select Contacts. If you are on iOS version 11+, select "Accounts & Passwords"

Select 'add account'

Select "Other".

Select "Add CardDAV Account" under the "Contacts" section.
Step 6
Fill in the form displayed.
In the "Server" field enter "www.eagleagent.com.au/carddav".
In the Username and Password fields enter your Eagle email address and password.
In the description enter "Eagle" then click "Next".
Step 7
Press the home button to return to the home screen and select the "Contacts" icon.
Step 8
Select "Groups" (this may take a few seconds to appear).
Step 9
Ensure that "All Eagle" is checked. Click done to return to your contacts and you should now see your selected Eagle contacts on your device.

Manual Synchronization

Drag down on the contact listing screen to manually synchronize with your Eagle contacts.
